Stanley Dark

Once again, we re-set the turnout record this week with 35 riders and 70 wheels. Momentum grows! Thanks to all of you brave cyclesomniacs who have consistently showed up to make this ride so awesome - I hope to see you kids (and kids at heart) out again this thursday may 25th for the next ride!

Last ride took us around crab park and under canada place and the soon-to-be convention centre, around coal harbour (where we thoroughly confused the late-night fancy diners) and around stanley park - finishing with a long bomb in the dark forrest from prospect point. What a rush! We wrapped things up at Seigels 24 hour bagelry, where we likely blew the counter guy's mind comming in en mass like that at 3 am. radness.

Here's what we managed to capture from the ride-

Massive Mass

Well, last week we had our largest midnight ride yet - upwards of thirty people (60 wheels!) turned up for april 27th's massive mass.

Since pictures speak louder than words, I'll let the photos do the talking this week. Massive thanks to Andy Hudson for his photo contributions. Anyone else with a favorite picture or two, feel free to hit me up with them and I'll try and get them posted - midnightsimon(at)gmail.com
Meeting up:

China Creek Skate Park:

Off to Queen E:

To the Blodel Conservatory...

Then back to the old favorite for twenty-pho hour:

So that's last week kids - the biggest yet. But the weather is fine, the night air crisp, and the riding sweet. So get your ass out to this week's midnight mass - thursday, may 11. As always, bring your friends, your lights, and your secret knowledge of this fine city. Lets build some momentum and spread the word!
